Assistance Program

Assistance Interviews:
All assistance interviews are held on Thursdays and Fridays between the hours of 9:00 am – 12:00 Noon.

Qualifications:
***Must be a resident in the Bismarck School District.
***Low Income Household (if you qualify at DHS you will qualify).

Assistance Services Provided:
Electric…………….$200.00 per calendar year
Propane……………$200.00 per calendar year *
Water……………….$ 50.00 Max per calendar year
Firewood………….$150.00
(These amounts are subject to change)
* Cannot be in the same month, one month waiting period.

Gas Cards……………$25.00 (for medical needs only), limit 2 times per year. Chemo and radiation treatments are according to doctor’s orders. This amount is subject to change.

Clothing & Shoes Vouchers….2 times per calendar year.
Disaster assistance……………….According to needs
